This amazing eagle was carved by Dan Quam, out of a fairly dark piece of picasso marble. This stone is found mostly in Utah; identifiable by its striking and dramatic combination of browns, blacks, grays and white colors, each piece is different. The eagle is landing on a stone outcropping, with its wings flung back and open to their full extent.
